[o'rahili], Thomas Francis, irischer Keltologe, * Listowel (County Kerry) 1883, ✝ Dublin 16. 11. 1953; war Professor in Cork und Dublin, trat mit Publikationen zur jüngeren irischen Sprache (Texteditionen, Dialektforschung) hervor und begründete 1946 die Zeitschrift »Celtica«. Auf der Basis großer Gelehrsamkeit entwickelte er spektakuläre Theorien zur Christianisierung und Vorgeschichte Irlands, die jedoch keine allgemeine Anerkennung fanden.
